Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Who is eligible to receive a care package?

Anyone in the UK facing significant health challenges such as cancer, chronic illnesses, allergies, or other serious conditions is eligible to receive a care package. Our goal is to provide comfort and nourishment to those who need it most, regardless of their specific medical situation

How are the care packages funded?

Our care packages are funded through generous donations from individuals and organizations. Each £100 donated fully funds a complete care package, including both the Comfort Package and the Food Package. We rely on the support of our community to continue providing these packages to those in need.

How often can I receive a care package?

Our goal is to reach as many people as possible, so care packages are typically offered as a one-time support to each individual. If you find yourself in need of additional assistance, please contact us, and we will evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis.

What is included in a care package?

Our care packages come in two parts: the Comfort Package and the Food Package. The Comfort Package includes an average of 10 items designed to provide physical and emotional comfort, such as water bottles, moisturizers, and neck pillows. The Food Package provides a Friday night dinner for one, featuring organic kosher meat and/or poultry, and may include chicken soup when available.

Can I donate specific items instead of money?

Currently, we focus on monetary donations to streamline the process of assembling and delivering care packages. This approach allows us to purchase items in bulk and ensure that each package meets our quality standards. However, we appreciate all forms of support and encourage you to contact us if you have specific ideas for contributions.

How can I track the delivery of my care package?

Once you’ve signed up and your care package is prepared, we will notify you of the expected delivery date. If you have any concerns or need further information about your delivery, feel free to reach out to our support team.

How do I sign up to receive a care package?

You can sign up to receive a care package by filling out our Google Sheets form available on the "Get Involved" page of our website. Please provide accurate and complete information to ensure we can deliver the package to you promptly.

Can I volunteer to help with the care packages?

Yes! We welcome volunteers to assist with various tasks, including assembling care packages, coordinating deliveries, and raising awareness about our mission. You can sign up to volunteer on the "Get Involved" page of our website.

Is the food in the Food Package suitable for all dietary needs?

The Food Package is specifically designed to provide organic, kosher meat and poultry for a Friday night dinner. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions, the focus is on kosher meals. If you have specific dietary concerns, please contact us, and we will do our best to meet your needs.

How can I get more involved or learn more about your mission?

You can learn more about our mission, volunteer opportunities, and donation options by exploring our website. We also encourage you to follow us on social media for updates and to help spread the word about our work. If you have any questions or ideas for further involvement, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
